At BCR Handmade Organic Clothing, every piece is created slowly, thoughtfully, and in small batches. Our pricing is reflective of the time, care, and craftsmanship that go into making clothing for your little ones, without compromising on quality or values.

Handmade, Not Mass‑Produced

Every item is cut, sewn, pressed, and finished by hand in my small home in Cornwall. Our handmade clothing is not produced in factories, there are no large production lines, and no shortcuts — just carefully sewn with love. This means every piece that we create takes time, skill, and attention to detail.

Premium Organic Fabrics Chosen With Intention

We only use soft, durable, premium organic fabrics chosen for comfort and longevity.

These materials cost more than standard retail fabrics, but they:

• feel gentler on little ones’ skin
• are not treated with nasty chemicals
• printed in the UK, no big carbon footprint from China printers
• wash and wear beautifully
• allow us to create pieces that last

Small Batches, No Waste

All our collections are produced in small quantities without overproduction and fabric wastage. Including having a mixture of ready to post and handmade to order. Ensuring we only sew what is needed and not have huge collections of stock without purpose.

This means:

• limited fabric designs, thoughtfully chosen 
• no restocks once a print is gone
• careful planning to use every metre responsibly
  

Small‑batch production costs more per piece, but it allows BCR to stay sustainable and create clothing with intention.

This is clothing made to be worn, loved, and handed on — not thrown away. Once little ones outgrow their BCR clothing, I buy them back and sell in our preloved collection. Providing another opportunity for BCR clothing to be worn and loved again.
